Methodology |
|
 |
Overview
|
Software Development
methodology followed at Serenity is not predetermined. The nature
of business requirements decides the methodology adopted.
|
The client
business requirements are meticulously analyzed in-depth before
arriving at the methodology. Nature of Software development
requirements of the customer is the basis for determining
methodology adopted by us. The prime determinant of methodology
is however, that which delivers ultimate value to the customer,
which is our overriding concern. |
Waterfall Methodology
|
Waterfall
methodology is a classic, fairly disciplined and structured
approach requiring rigorous documentation. We take to this
method in longer duration projects where the requirements
are unchanging and fairly stable. |
|
Waterfall methodology follows a sequence of procedures |
- Requirements Specification.
- Design.
- Implementation.
- Integration & Debugging.
- Installation & Maintenance.
|
|
Extreme Programming |
Extreme Programming is practiced at Serenity to give more room
to the oft changing Customers requirements. We very well understand
the customer mindset having gathered years of experience working
with different customers. |
Extreme Programming activities are mainly- |
- Coding.
- Testing.
- Highly receptive to Business requirements.
- Designing.
|
Spiral Method
|
Years of industry experience taught us that big projects require
the disciplined approach and regimentation advocated by the
traditional methods as well as the flexibility afforded by the
modern iterative methods. |
We adopt Spiral method of development to deliver our customers
an ideal and best mix of both the worlds. Early tentative prototypes
are built on the basis of requirements and early designs. Customer
participation and involvement is solicited for further iterative
refinement and fine tuning till the project is put in perfect
place.
