  1. What is a typical career path for employees at Serenity Infotech?

    Typically, there are two career paths that most employees follow; one is technical and the other is management. However, Serenity caters to each employee's career goals. There are some consultants who are interested in building up their skills with the latest emerging technologies while others are interested in customer interfacing or project management. Serenity's training programs cater to these varied interests and were designed to meet these career development goals.


  2. What skills does Serenity look for in a candidate?

    Primarily we look for the relevant required skills for the position open. However, Serenity seeks candidates who are creative thinkers, self-motivated, and have the passion & drive to excel. We get interested in goal-oriented people who have the initiative and commitment to be leaders. Serenity culture demands strong interpersonal skills and the ability to make the right decisions for our clients.


  3. Does Serenity Infotech sponsor Green Cards?

    Yes, we sponsor Green Cards for eligible employees.


  4. Does Serenity Infotech sponsor H1B visas?

    Yes, we sponsor new H1B visas for qualified applicants. We also sponsor transferring of H1B visas from other employers.


  5. How soon can I start working for Serenity Infotech once the H1B petition has been filed?

    If you are currently in the US on H1B status, you are allowed to join once the petition for visa transfer has been filed with the USCIS.
    If you do not currently have an H1B visa, you must wait until your petition has been approved by USCIS. Further, if your visa is valid from a later date, you must wait until that date to start your employment. E.g., if your visa is approved in June with a validity date of October 1st, you must wait till October to start your employment.


  6. If I am on F-1 status with a practical training (OPT) work permit, can I join Serenity Infotech?

    Yes, we have an active university hiring program and will be happy to help you start/resume your career with your new qualification. Please submit your resume to careers@serenityinfotech.com.


  7. After I submit my resume either online or through mail who has access to it?

    Serenity treats the candidate information contained in the resume/ CV as confidential. Only our HR department has access to the Resumes/CVs besides the Interview panel involved in the selection process.


  8. After submitting my resume/ CV how would I know if I am shortlisted?

    On receiving your resume/CV, the HR Department in consultation with the selection panel does the screening. If your profile matches with the requirement, you would receive an email informing that you have been shortlisted for the Interview.


  9. What is the process of selection after short listing resumes?

    Both for the technical and managerial positions we conduct two rounds of interviews to make sure that the competencies are rated and evaluated through different perspectives.
    Competence evaluation is followed by a HR Interview.


  10. How is the compensation structured in Serenity?

    Compensation at Serenity is very competitive and structured to attract the best of talent. It is commensurate to the competency rating and years of experience as well.
